John Tindell grew up right here in Columbiana County. He was baptized at Lake Mount Church of Christ in 2000, where he and his family grew up. This is where he met his wife, Katie; together, they started helping in the youth ministry there. This is what ignited John’s passion for teaching the Word. From there, he worked for a gas and oil company, and he was also a part-time youth minister for Lake Mount. He left and served at Highland Christian Church as their lead minister until COVID hit. Then, the Lord called him into full-time ministry in Tonawanda, New York, where he served a little over three years. After his time there, John, Katie, and their three children have been called back home to Columbiana County to Pine Lake Christian Church.

John loves to be outside to enjoy God’s creation. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding four-wheelers with his kids. He loves cooking and enjoying a meal with anyone. John has taken classes from Northeast Ohio Bible College and Summit Theological Seminary and is working on a degree from Summit. John loves people and has a passion to show people who Jesus is.
